How does the Auto Sync of Comments Work?

  • Navigate to a Jira Issue that is already associated with a Salesforce record.

  • Add a comment to the issue.

  • Now navigate to the Salesforce record to which this Jira issue is associated. You can do it by clicking on the Salesforce record ID present under the mO Jira Data Sync For Salesforce section present on the issue panel on the right-hand side.

  • You will be able to see the comment you added to the Jira issue as a feed update in the Salesforce record.

  • Similarly, if you add a comment as an update in the Salesforce record’s feed then it will be displayed in your Jira issue.

  • You will be able to see the comment added in Salesforce under the mO Salesforce Comments section of the Jira Issue.
