Bringing Multiple SCIM Connection To Life: SCIM DC 2.0 Release(A major Upgrade)

This is a cautionary notice for administrators using the Jira SCIM and Confluence SCIM plugins in Jira and Confluence instances.

We have released the major functionality change in the Jira and Confluence SCIM Apps for the multiple SCIM Connectors. You will be able to configure multiple SCIM provisioning Connections onwards this release. This is the major change that impacts the current functionality of the app.

We are requesting you update the plugin during the downtime and follow the below steps to avoid a plugin service outage. This process also requires updating the IDP/provider's SCIM application.

If you are using REST API Connectors, you don't need to make any changes in the provider. You can check this in the plugin Configuration as below.

Steps to follow after the plugin upgrade:

Update the miniOrange SCIM plugin to version 2.0.0 and select the Configure button.

Edit the SCIM App from list of configured app and copy the SCIM Base URL.

Replace this SCIM Base URL with the existing one from the already configured application.
Test the SCIM Connection and Save the settings.
